FocusPod / Japan
Installation and access
Measure the unloading area, doors, corridor turns, lift cabin and load limit, and final room. Packed components may need a different route from the assembled pod. Share photos, access bookings and building receiving rules before the project is confirmed.

Watch video11 secondsMake room around the pod
Allow for door swing, assembly, ventilation, servicing and power beyond the exterior footprint. Check usable interior space against furniture and equipment. Have your facilities team assess floor suitability and the proposed location before approving the specification.
Choose the installation arrangement
Request installation or explain that you plan to use your own contractor. Availability, timing, handling, assembly and exact cost are confirmed for your address. Installation has no accepted fixed amount until that scope is reviewed in the complete quote.
Power and selected equipment
Confirm the supplied electrical configuration and requirements of selected equipment. Standard ventilation and optional cooling have different functions. Check the actual offered model options, dimensions and electrical schedule; do not assume an option or a height change applies to every FocusPod model.
Access and receiving arrangements
Tell us about stairs, lift restrictions, restricted working hours and any required lifting equipment. Agree the receiving contact, access bookings and responsibilities for internal handling. Coordinate site preparation with the confirmed delivery and installation plan.
Ready for the workday
Check the agreed furniture and extras, door operation, lighting, ventilation and controls with the installer. Retain the final specification and assembly information. Report missing parts or functions that do not work as expected before completing the handover.
Fire safety & building requirements
Sprinkler and fire-alarm options are available. We help you confirm the details for your pod and workplace.
Can you include sprinklers and fire alarms?
Choose the optional sprinkler and fire-alarm package in the configurator. Your selection is recorded with your project. Equipment, connections to building systems, installation scope and price are confirmed in your complete quote before payment. Selecting this option does not by itself include a complete installed system.
What should I know about fire ratings?
Fire information is specific to the model and materials. A material fire classification does not establish a fire-resistance rating for the complete pod. Ask us to confirm the relevant test documentation for your chosen model and finishes.
An acoustic “Class A” rating describes sound reduction, not fire performance.
What should we check before ordering?
Start with your building manager: they may have requirements for introducing a pod into your workplace. Share those requirements and your installation address with us so we can confirm the appropriate equipment and connections with your building team. Local fire requirements still apply; the package is not a blanket requirement for every pod.
